Braided Crown Tutorial

Hello, Everyone!  In this tutorial, I will be showing you how to create a simple, yet beautiful braided crown that is perfect for any occasion! Thanks, @hfurr1 for requesting this style!

Step One.  Start out with your hair down. It can pretty much work on all hair types, whether curly or straight, so no heat is essential for this style!

Step Two.  Section your hair in half and brush forward to create pigtails, securing with a rubber band.

Step Three.  Braid both pigtails and secure with a rubber band.

Step Four.  Remove the top rubber bands that you put in first, but not the ones holding the braid together.

Step Five.  Simply bring one braid over the top of your head and pin it into place. Repeat with the other braid, like shown in the picture below.  (Depending on the length of your hair, you may be able to wrap each braid around your whole head for a more "crown" effect, but for my length, however, they only reach to about my ears.)

Step Six. "Pancake" or tug at your braid to make it look fuller and thicker. Grab a few pieces of hair in the front to frame your face.

That's it! Let me know what you think and if you try it out for yourself! Don't forget to send me your requests and follow me on Instagram and Twitter for more hair posts! Bye for now!

How To: Gibson Tuck Tutorial

 Hello Everyone!
Here, as requested, is my Gibson Tuck Tutorial!
*Note* This works best on either "dirty" hair or with added texture for best hold. I recommend a texturizing powder or spray. (My hair is really soft and silky, so it just won't work with me without extra texture to it.)

Step One. Grab your favorite elastic headband and place it over your hair, as shown in the pictures.

Step Two. Grab a small (1-2 inch) section from the front and pull through the band.

Step Three. Grab another small section and pull through just like step two.

Step Four. Repeat with another section.

Your hair should look like this now.

Step Five. Repeat the same exact thing on the other side.

Step Six. This is a key step to helping it not all fall apart. Take a clear elastic and tie off the end of the hair. This will keep the ends in place so other hairs wont fall out when trying to tuck them.

Step Seven. Tuck the rest of the hair into the band.

Step Eight. Pin into place for an extra hold.

Add any favorite accessory and you're ready to go!

Thanks for reading! Let me know if you have any requests!

How To: Quick Side French Braid

Hello, Everyone! Today I'm going to show you how to do a quick side french braid. Let's get started!

Step One.  Brush all your hair to one side. Grab a small section of hair from the top front. Separate into three sections and begin to french braid.
Remember to keep the braid close to the front of your face and work your way down to the end of your hair.

Step Two.  Once you tie off the braid, begin tugging at the braid to make it appear thicker.

And that's it!
Thanks for looking! Check back in soon for more hair posts!

Love,
Kenn

Vintage Halloween Tutorial : The Makeup

 Hello, Everyone!

Seeing some of my favorite bloggers do some really cool Halloween tutorials, I recently decided to be festive too and do a themed tutorial for you, just in case you wanted a last minute "costume" idea that you can do all by yourself!
The first part, or post, will be the makeup post. I'm not used to doing makeup tutorials so bear with me. haha
Let's get started.

Step One. Moisturize your face. Always keep your face moisturized, especially during the drier months of the year.

Step Two. Apply your concealer and powder.
Also apply under the eyes in small lines to conceal dark circles.
 Blend with your sponge.
 Apply powder with a brush.

Step Three. Line your lash line with eyeliner.

Step Four. Apply very light, pale pink eye shadow to your lid, going up to your brow.

Step Five. Using a bronze toned shadow (I just used my bronzer), apply just to your eye lid.

Step Six. Line the eye again with eye liner to redefine and darken.

Step Seven. Apply bronzer.

Bronzing Tip: Don't forget to add a touch to your forehead to tone and define your face!

Step Eight. Apply mascara in the color of your choice. I prefer clear because I don't like the clumpy mess and dust that black mascara gives me. ha

Ta-da! Tutorial for the hair coming soon, so be watching for the link!

Thanks for checking the tutorial out and I hope you give it a try! Talk to you soon!
