Braided Crown Tutorial

Hello, Everyone!  In this tutorial, I will be showing you how to create a simple, yet beautiful braided crown that is perfect for any occasion! Thanks, @hfurr1 for requesting this style!

Step One.  Start out with your hair down. It can pretty much work on all hair types, whether curly or straight, so no heat is essential for this style!

Step Two.  Section your hair in half and brush forward to create pigtails, securing with a rubber band.

Step Three.  Braid both pigtails and secure with a rubber band.

Step Four.  Remove the top rubber bands that you put in first, but not the ones holding the braid together.

Step Five.  Simply bring one braid over the top of your head and pin it into place. Repeat with the other braid, like shown in the picture below.  (Depending on the length of your hair, you may be able to wrap each braid around your whole head for a more "crown" effect, but for my length, however, they only reach to about my ears.)

Step Six. "Pancake" or tug at your braid to make it look fuller and thicker. Grab a few pieces of hair in the front to frame your face.

That's it! Let me know what you think and if you try it out for yourself! Don't forget to send me your requests and follow me on Instagram and Twitter for more hair posts! Bye for now!

How To: Quick Side French Braid

Hello, Everyone! Today I'm going to show you how to do a quick side french braid. Let's get started!

Step One.  Brush all your hair to one side. Grab a small section of hair from the top front. Separate into three sections and begin to french braid.
Remember to keep the braid close to the front of your face and work your way down to the end of your hair.

Step Two.  Once you tie off the braid, begin tugging at the braid to make it appear thicker.

And that's it!
Thanks for looking! Check back in soon for more hair posts!

How to: Faux Fishtail Braid

Hello, Everyone! Today's tutorial is on my Faux Fishtail Bubble Braid! It's super simple and quick to do and adds a unique look that can be worn as a casual or fancy do! Let's get started!

What you need is a comb and a few small elastic hair bands, depending on the length of your hair.

Step One. Comb your hair to the side and put it into a ponytail. Optional Tip: Tease the hair before pulling it up to give your hair more body and volume.

Step Two. From the base of the ponytail, tie another elastic about 2 inches from the base and section it off, so to speak, as shown in the picture.

Step Three. With the section you made, split it in half and grab the bottom part of the ponytail that's free. Take your other hand, keep the split open, and pull the bottom of the ponytail through the loop you created.

Step four. Once you pull the hair through the loop, it should look like this. Next, add another elastic about two inches from the last one. You will repeat everything you just did until you reach the end of your hair.

Step five. Once you finish, go back and just slightly tug at each section to add more volume and body.

That finishes this tutorial! I hope you like it and try it! Let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions!
