The Braided Bun Tutorial

Hello, Everyone! Today's tutorial is on a quick and easy braided messy bun! Let's get started!

What you will need is two hair ties and several bobby pins.

Step One.  Pull your hair into a ponytail.

Step two.  Braid the ponytail. (Optional tip for fine haired gals like myself: Tug on the parts of the braid to make it appear larger and thicker. )

Step Three.  Wrap the braid around the base of the ponytail and pin in place.

And there you have it! A quick but pretty hairstyle that takes less than five minutes!

I hope you try this out and is just as easy for you! Please let me know if you have any suggestions for future tutorials! Thanks for reading!

How To: The Poufy Top Knot

Today's tutorial is on the poufy top knot! This top knot is simple and easy to create and elegant enough for a special occasion or even perfect enough for everyday wear! Let's get started.

What you will need is a small curling iron, a hair tie, bobby pins, and a brush.

Step One. Pull your hair up into a high ponytail.

Step Two. Section the hair into four to six parts depending on the thickness of your hair. Curl each part.

Step Three. After curling, take the hair out and curl the top part, Just to add more body to the top of the head. This part is technically optional, I just wanted to add a bit more volume.

Step Four.  Run your fingers through your hair to give it more body and make the curls bigger. This will help give you the volume you need for the top knot.

Step Five. Put your hair back up into a high ponytail. Take a comb or brush and tease the hair. Its okay if it looks like a mess. Once we get it into a bun, it won't look crazy.

Step Six. Grab the hair at the tip and wrap it around the base of your ponytail like you're shaping it to look like a donut. Its okay if some shorter strands fall out. You can just simply pin them into the bun later.

Step Seven. Secure the knot with several bobby pins.

And that is all!

Thank you for reading! I hope you try this tutorial and it works great for you! Please let me know what you think or if you have any suggestions for a future tutorial you want me to make for you!
